Dr. Amin Nadeem is a resident of the greater Chicago area where he lives with his family. He is a firm believer in the fact that a physician leader better understands the inpatient staffing needs of a medical center. This is the same belief that led him to establish Quality Care Inpatient Associates with his colleague Dr. Sajid Mehmood. Dr. Nadeem is currently working in the capacity of Chief Medical Officer with quality care inpatients associates.
He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Nadeem was always interested in inpatient care; this prompted him to pursue a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Nadeem’s passion includes patient care, health care management, and health care delivery.
Dr. Sajid Mehmood is a Board-certified Intensivist & Internist and at present is associated with Quality Care inpatient Associates in the capacity of its President. Prior to actively pursuing private practice, he was a Clinical Instructor for the Critical Care Fellowship Program of Midwestern University at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago for approximately 2 years. Dr. Mehmood completed his medical residency followed by fellowships in both Endocrinology & Metabolism as well as Critical Care Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences. His areas of interest include the utilization of a multidisciplinary approach for the delivery of inpatient health care. Dr. Mehmood envisions that in the next 10 years most of the intensive care units throughout the USA will be staffed by the in-house intensivist.
Dr. Hussain is board certified Intensivist and relocated to Chicago from Pakistan after the successful completion of surgical and medical Icu at one of the Transplant facility at Lahore. He completed residency training at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and fellowship from Rosalind Franklin University. He has worked at various clinical and administrative capacities at King Faisal Hospital Riyadh and Pakistan Kidney and Liver institute, Lahore. Dr. Hussain’s passion is clinical education and patient care.
Dr. Rehman Safdar is a board-certified physician specialized in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He has a very diverse experience that ranges from large tertiary care health systems as well as community hospitals in the USA and Canada to a Transplant Center in Pakistan. He has a firm belief that it's as important to care for the families and loved ones of the patients as it is for the patients themselves in intensive care unit.After completing Internal Medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital in New York, Dr. Safdar served as Chief Resident for an extra year. Subsequently, he completed Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at University of South Carolina followed by Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.Over the course of his career, Dr. Safdar developed interest in evidence-based medicine, medical education, ARDS, ultrasound in ICU, chest radiology, and Intensive Care Endocrinology. He likes travelling, photography, and playing guitar in his spare time.
Dr. Ashraf has always been interested in critical care medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency from NYU Brooklyn. He later joined Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx NY to pursue and complete his fellowship in critical care medicine. Dr Ashraf is also board-certified in pulmonary diseases. He likes to perform and teach procedures related to intensive care unit and common procedures in the spectrum of pulmonary medicine. During his travels abroad, he has helped establish and run critical care services in different hospitals. In his free time, he likes to travel and read old-fashioned paper-back detective novels. In the future he envisions himself being at the heart of a teaching program, training the next generation of physicians.
